As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the friendly and caring staff. The location was amazing, being so close to the ocean. The hostel bar offered a good breakfast and the matcha with oat drink was a highlight. We also appreciated having a private electric socket near each bed, making it easy to charge our mobiles. The opportunity to wash and dry laundry in a private room was convenient, and having a private kitchen to cook and eat with others added to the international feeling of the hostel.
Felt like family, no complaints.

Free parking and friendly staff. . Fully equipped kitchen and big common area. Ideal for solo travelers with a 40, minute walk to the city center. Notice board with events in the area.
Beds were tiny and no bedding in the room. . No locks provided for lockers and towels had an extra cost.

The value for money at Dalur - Hi Hostel was fantastic, and the private room I had was great, with a lovely bathroom. The location was perfect, just a half-hour walk along the coast to the city center, and next to an outdoor pool and a park. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained.
One small thing that could make the breakfast option even better is to have more variety in the menu.

The facilities were all we could hope for, and the staff made our visit truly wonderful. They were consistently cheerful, welcoming, well-informed, and helpful. The hostel is conveniently located near a bus stop, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the presence of a kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals, adding convenience and saving money during our stay.
We found that the hostel was a bit far from the city center, which was a minor inconvenience. Additionally, the lack of shower gel and the requirement to pay for towel rental were unexpected.
